Company's latest milestone will support cutting-edge UK and European businesses looking for sovereign, high-performance computing alternatives to US hyperscalers
London, UK, 19 May 2026: NexGen Cloud today announces the opening of a new headquarters in the City of London. The move marks the company's most significant UK investment to date, as the government accelerates its push for AI sovereignty and competitiveness in the global AI race. NexGen Cloud's expanded UK presence will support the continued growth of Hyperstack, its full stack AI cloud platform supporting large-scale inference workloads and offering enterprises a sovereign alternative to US hyperscalers.
Supporting UK Customers
The new headquarters will support NexGen Cloud as it expands its enterprise product portfolio, giving the company a dedicated base at the centre of its growing international customer base, with direct access to the sectors where demand for secure, sovereign AI infrastructure is growing fastest. With a number of large-scale enterprise deployments already in progress, the company is positioning itself as the infrastructure partner of choice for organisations that cannot compromise on data control. The expansion underscores NexGen Cloud's commitment to the UK Government's Industrial Strategy and follows the launch of the country's first Sovereign AI Fund.¹
Alongside the new headquarters, NexGen Cloud is establishing a dedicated Network Operations Centre (NOC) in the UK to provide 24×7×365 infrastructure monitoring, proactive incident management, and structured escalation response — designed to support the operational resilience that enterprise and regulated customers require as AI infrastructure becomes mission-critical.

Expanding UK Talent
The HQ will be headed up by an expanded team of experts drawn from London's biggest FTSE 100 companies and key public institutions. Prasanna Rengarajan joins as Chief Financial Officer, bringing deep expertise in corporate finance and investor relations. Rob Mooney joins as Chief Revenue Officer after nearly two decades developing and driving market strategies for high-performance computing and cloud services.
In addition to the executive appointments, Jessie Cannady joins as Head of Risk and Compliance, bringing experience leading regulatory and audit programmes across compliance frameworks and enterprise environments. Ashley Williams also becomes the Head of Partnerships, leading NexGen Cloud's partner strategy and helping to scale infrastructure operations across EMEA.

The London headquarters, alongside NOC, will serve as the operational base for the company's expanding UK and European presence.
